The A259 is the coast road through Pevensey Bay. The A27 is inland at Polegate, still a good pull away. The A23 is Brighton's, a real distance from here. At the castle, say Pevensey Castle. On the shingle, say Normans Bay or Pevensey Bay, and expect us to tell you honestly how far away the van is.
