Stopped on the A27, the A23 or the A259?
The A27 runs along the south side of Lewes and is the main road through this district. The A23 is to the west, through Pyecombe. The A259 is the coast at Peacehaven; Telscombe the village is not Telscombe Cliffs. If you are on the A27, the last junction you passed is a better description than the castle.
